Michael Stieglitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Stieglitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Beinmagd in the 37th minute of the match. Theodor Lohrmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Stieglitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Michael Stieglitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Roland Beinmagd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. After 96 played minutes Die Durchstarter got a freekick which was hit by Anton Nagat. The Die Durchstarter fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VfL Klosterbauerschaft were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
