Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter-Stefan Bilstein started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Peter-Stefan Bilstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agilo Rossel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Dortmund's Bosko Jaskulski got a free kick in the 8th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Szikszy's Leopold Bannemann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agilo Rossel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Stefan Bilstein in the 12th minute of play forced FC Dortmund's goalkeeper Agilo Rossel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimar Metzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ringo Grossek in the 14th minute of the match. Nils Wester kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Ringo Grossek came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ringo Grossek couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Grossek in the 21st minute of play forced Szikszy's goalkeeper Raimar Metzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FC Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Stefan Bilstein came free, but Agilo Rossel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter-Stefan Bilstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agilo Rossel having to make a save. Raimar Metzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Händl in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Eusebio Belusa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter-Stefan Bilstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes FC Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Belusa. Peter-Stefan Bilstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agilo Rossel having to make a save. The supporters of Szikszy booed when FC Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ringo Grossek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Leopold Bannemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agilo Rossel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tim Händl made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Peter-Stefan Bilstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szikszy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter-Stefan Bilstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter-Stefan Bilstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopold Bannemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Agilo Rossel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopold Bannemann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Agilo Rossel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter-Stefan Bilstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agilo Rossel having to interfere. A hard shot 72 in the game by Leopold Bannemann from a close distance when the talented Agilo Rossel managed to make a qualified save. FC Dortmund's players were relieved. Raimar Metzler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Händl, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Serge Spichermann hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes, FC Dortmund's Jürn Osthoff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimar Metzler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dortmund reached it. When Serge Spichermann fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szikszy's protests and gave Serge Spichermann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Dortmund booed when Szikszy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Spichermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Wester hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Leopold Bannemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agilo Rossel having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Leopold Bannemann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agilo Rossel. Leopold Bannemann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2.
