After a rather tough play, Schümersmühle's Gisbert Berlich got a free kick in the 9th minute. Marek Lohr took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Klimke. Elia Klimke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dieter Otten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elia Klimke. Schümersmühle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gisbert Berlich in the 19th minute of play forced Kraftsdorf's goalkeeper Till Augustin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gisbert Berlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Kraftsdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Menger came free, but Till Augustin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Schramm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Elia Klimke made a huge save. Gereon Termath charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gereon Termath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Schümersmühle. Adam Menger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Till Augustin. 1-1. Gisbert Berlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Schümersmühle's Adam Menger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Till Augustin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Kraftsdorf booed when Schümersmühle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gisbert Berlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Jakob Berns shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elia Klimke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carsten Freund hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Kraftsdorf got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Berns. The corner ended in Adam Menger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kraftsdorf's Till Augustin did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Kraftsdorf's zone, Adam Menger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Till Augustin came out of the goal and Adam Menger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Kraftsdorf got a freekick which was hit by Karl Klarner. After some careless play in the Kraftsdorf defense, Hermann Giebenrath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Till Augustin. The Kraftsdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Till Augustin should have stopped the shot. When Hermann Giebenrath fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schümersmühle's protests and gave Hermann Giebenrath a yellow card for diving instead. Hermann Giebenrath hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Adam Menger struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Till Augustin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schümersmühle. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Hermann Giebenrath got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Schümersmühle's Adam Menger in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kraftsdorf's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delron Dückert got free with Till Augustin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kraftsdorf's Till Augustin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Kraftsdorf from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Lohr in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elia Klimke saved Schümersmühle from getting behind. Schümersmühle were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
