Agilo Rossel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Hönes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Robert Hönes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agilo Rossel was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Martin Baur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agilo Rossel having to make a save. Bosko Jaskulski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Saverio Indalecio made a huge save. Robert Hönes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agilo Rossel having to make a save. After 25th play minutes Robert Hönes shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Agilo Rossel and just under the crossbar into goal. Agilo Rossel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Meier in the 33rd minute of play. FC Dortmund's Agilo Rossel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Hönes in the 34th minute of play. Saverio Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Händl in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Robert Hönes made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Dortmund's Agilo Rossel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ringo Grossek's late challenge caught a 1.FC Mehlesdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ringo Grossek helped the player get up and apologised. Ringo Grossek kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Ringo Grossek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After 45 played minutes FC Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Ringo Grossek. Robert Hönes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agilo Rossel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Hönes ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Hönes was the one to do the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Dustin Meier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agilo Rossel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robert Hönes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Agilo Rossel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agilo Rossel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Robert Hönes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Robert Hönes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Robert Hönes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agilo Rossel. Agilo Rossel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
