Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adam Menger started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Adam Menger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reelpool TM's goalkeeper Hemmo Peddinghaus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frederico Wuttke's late challenge caught a Reelpool TM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Wuttke helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Schümersmühle's Frederico Wuttke got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Schümersmühle's Adam Menger in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reelpool TM's goalie prevented a goal. Elia Klimke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedhold Wurm in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Reelpool TM booed when Schümersmühle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Wuttke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Menger scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hemmo Peddinghaus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elia Klimke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludger Eckstein in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Schümersmühle's Adam Menger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hemmo Peddinghaus. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. Ulrich Rastätter kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Schümersmühle got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Ernst. 43 minutes into the game, Sven Hütt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Elia Klimke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th match minute, Schümersmühle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Menger to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Friedhold Wurm to strike the kick off in the second half. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gisbert Berlich, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Schümersmühle's Hermann Giebenrath got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Hermann Giebenrath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Hemmo Peddinghaus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gisbert Berlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermann Giebenrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gisbert Berlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schümersmühle's supporters rose to their feet, but Gisbert Berlich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemmo Peddinghaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gisbert Berlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schümersmühle's supporters rose to their feet, but Gisbert Berlich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemmo Peddinghaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludger Eckstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Elia Klimke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermann Giebenrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Menger, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hermann Giebenrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Karhoff during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Schümersmühle's Hermann Giebenrath in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hermann Giebenrath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Dietmar Enkelmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reelpool TM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schümersmühle the free kick. After 83 played minutes Schümersmühle got a freekick which was hit by Herwig Wilzek. Schümersmühle's Elia Klimke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludger Eckstein in the 84th minute of play. Hermann Giebenrath struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Hemmo Peddinghaus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schümersmühle. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Giebenrath in the 91st minute of the match. When Adam Menger came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Schümersmühle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Menger couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Schümersmühle booed when Reelpool TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dietmar Enkelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
