In the 24thth minute of the game Tim Hartenbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Königsblau Schalke's Billy Straubinger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Königsblau Schalke's Billy Straubinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thilo Zimmermann in the 26th minute of play. Tim Hartenbach took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Straubinger. Billy Straubinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Max Rieden came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Königsblau Schalke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Rieden couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Joschi Gemein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thilo Zimmermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thilo Zimmermann got free with Billy Straubinger in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thies Hell succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 80 minutes into the match, Königsblau Schalke's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Hartenbach came free, but Billy Straubinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Königsblau Schalke's Edgar Kühlert got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
