But to his dismay, Roland Beinmagd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, one of Königsblau Schalke:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Billy Straubinger had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Max Sigrist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Billy Straubinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Beinmagd in the 23rd minute of the match. Roland Beinmagd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Billy Straubinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Beinmagd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Königsblau Schalke's goalkeeper Billy Straubinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes of play, VfL Klosterbauerschaft's Roland Beinmagd made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Straubinger was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Friedhold Loth managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's supporters rose to their feet, but Friedhold Loth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 36th minute Roland Beinmagd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Straubinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedhold Loth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VfL Klosterbauerschaft getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Johannes Bliska hit a great ball. Norman Schreer's late challenge caught a VfL Klosterbauerschaft's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thies Hell to strike the kick off in the second half. Königsblau Schalke's Billy Straubinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Beinmagd in the 53rd minute of play. If Johannes Bliska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Klosterbauerschaft's goalkeeper Marko Mattern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Billy Straubinger managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when VfL Klosterbauerschaft's Roland Beinmagd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edgar Kühlert was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edgar Kühlert hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roland Beinmagd who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Billy Straubinger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roland Beinmagds short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Billy Straubinger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 92 played minutes Königsblau Schalke got a freekick which was hit by Norman Schreer. Billy Straubinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Sigrist in the 93rd minute of the match. Billy Straubinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedhold Loth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
