After 21 minutes, Joschi Gemein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rothenbergen FSV and the Schümersmühle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rothenbergen FSV's Joschi Gemein got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Schümersmühle defense, Thilo Zimmermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elia Klimke. The Schümersmühle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elia Klimke should have stopped the shot. Rothenbergen FSV's Tonio Lingens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rothenbergen FSV from getting a goal against them. Joschi Gemein got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Rothenbergen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thilo Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Wuttke struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tonio Lingens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schümersmühle. The wind increased when Adam Menger made the kick off in the second half. Wenzel Drebes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rothenbergen FSV's Tonio Lingens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gisbert Berlich in the 60th minute of play. Frederico Wuttke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Adam Menger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Lingens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Dieter Wosnitza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rothenbergen FSV getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jens Lowe hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Schümersmühle's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Lowe came free, but Elia Klimke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieter Wosnitza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tonio Lingens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gisbert Berlich in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tonio Lingens saved Rothenbergen FSV from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieter Wosnitza in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tonio Lingens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Frederico Wuttke came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Schümersmühle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Wuttke couldn't finish the play. Tonio Lingens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Wosnitza in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Delron Dückert notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rothenbergen FSV's Tonio Lingens. Tonio Lingens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Menger struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
