Nigel Fellbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Besiktas's goalkeeper Reinhard Gentner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kort Grimme hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Nigel Fellbaum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute of the match Ben Pulter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhard Gentner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Fabian Förster fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Reinhard Gentner, passed just outside the right post. Nigel Fellbaum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Reinhard Gentner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Förster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Gentner having to interfere. Nigel Fellbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Förster came free, but Reinhard Gentner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Gremberghoven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fox Schwertges came free, but Balthasar Reh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nigel Fellbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Fabian Förster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Gentner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niko Henrich's late challenge caught a Gremberghoven FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niko Henrich helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Niko Henrich hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fabian Förster made the kick off in the second half. Reinhard Gentner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Gehring in the 56th minute of the match. Gremberghoven FC's Fabian Förster got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Förster in the 66th minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Reinhard Gentner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemo Otte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Balthasar Reh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Nemo Otte from a close distance when the talented Balthasar Reh managed to make a qualified save. Gremberghoven FC's players were relieved. Fox Schwertges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar Reh having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Fabian Förster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktas's Reinhard Gentner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Gremberghoven FC's Nigel Fellbaum made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinhard Gentner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nigel Fellbaum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Gentner having to interfere. Reinhard Gentner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Fellbaum in the 96th minute of play.
