Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christian Möller kicked off to start the match. Simon Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KS Górnik Bykowina getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Wenzel Schönauer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gülsün Rammert. KS Górnik Bykowina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Erlenbacher FC's Christian Möller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gülsün Rammert. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Gülsün Rammert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arvid Borgers in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ibrahim Rosenhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Górnik Bykowina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibrahim Rosenhagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Palupski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Erlenbacher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Langhals came free, but Ramon Palupski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gülsün Rammert having to interfere. Ramon Palupski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Quinten in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Torsten Langhals left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Górnik Bykowina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mauricio Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ramon Palupski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Quinten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauricio Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Quinten in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Palupski saved Erlenbacher FC from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Mauricio Quinten made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Quinten might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Palupski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Quinten ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Mauricio Quinten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Borgers in the 95th minute of play forced KS Górnik Bykowina's goalkeeper Gülsün Rammert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Górnik Bykowina's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Erlenbacher FC had won, even though KS Górnik Bykowina had held more of the ball.
