Fox Schwertges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Pätzel having to interfere. Reinhard Gentner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Immo Buchen's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Nemo Otte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anton Pätzel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Curt Schanne hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Friedl Bretschneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Gentner having to interfere. Besiktas's Reinhard Gentner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedl Bretschneider in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Fox Schwertges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Pätzel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute Immo Buchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Gentner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinhard Gentner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedl Bretschneider in the 27th minute of the match. If Fox Schwertges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Besiktas's goalkeeper Reinhard Gentner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Hanno Jaksch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Friedl Bretschneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Gentner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnabas Droese charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barnabas Droese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes FC Schnuf got a freekick which was hit by Barnabas Droese. 42 minutes into the match, Immo Buchen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinhard Gentner. Besiktas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Immo Buchen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 46 minutes into the game, Nemo Otte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anton Pätzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fox Schwertges was the one to do the kick off. Friedl Bretschneider kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Besiktas's keeper Reinhard Gentner was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immo Buchen in the 53rd minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Reinhard Gentner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goalkeeper Reinhard Gentner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedl Bretschneider. If Fox Schwertges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Nemo Otte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Pätzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinhard Gentner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedl Bretschneider in the 59th minute. Friedl Bretschneiders short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Reinhard Gentner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reinhard Gentner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Immo Buchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinhard Gentner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immo Buchen in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Immo Buchen in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinhard Gentner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Schnuf! Anton Pätzel had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Georg Zweigler's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Georg Zweigler took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Pätzel. Anton Pätzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Reinhard Gentner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Immo Buchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Pätzel came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Besiktas's Fox Schwertges. But to his dismay, Fox Schwertges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Reinhard Gentner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immo Buchen in the 98th minute of the match. Besiktas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
