After 5 played minutes, FC BMG's Boris Baur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adil Bernstein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC BMG reached it. If Jakob Heupel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Luka Kühlhorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BMG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moritz Klotzbücher was slow to take the kick. During this time Eisern Union's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Moritz Klotzbücher got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remo Dörmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Jakob Heupel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Dörmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakob Heupel in the 23rd minute. With his leg Remo Dörmann managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Eisern Union's Jakob Heupel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jan Baader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, FC BMG's Alfred Dressel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adil Bernstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, FC BMG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Baur to maneuver through the defense. Remo Dörmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Baader, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 52 minutes into the match, Eisern Union's goalkeeper Adil Bernstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Dressel. 56 minutes into the match, Tobias Makel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adil Bernstein, 0-1. When Jan Baader came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Eisern Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Baader couldn't finish the play. If Jan Baader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Dörmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Baader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Heupel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Baader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Remo Dörmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Heupel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Jakob Heupel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remo Dörmann. FC BMG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Heupel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Remo Dörmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Baader in the 79th minute of the match. Alfred Dressel struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Adil Bernstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BMG. If Jakob Heupel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Dörmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Baader, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Alfred Dressel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
