A hard shot 18 in the game by Peer Gennburg from a close distance when the talented Bruno Stockburger managed to make a qualified save. Rodewald's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Ali Murat Bilharz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peer Gennburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Stockburger having to interfere. If Ali Murat Bilharz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Patrick Hebel made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Stockburger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Murat Bilharz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Kleie's goalkeeper Olaf Kauf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Schütz. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kleie reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peer Gennburg in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Stockburger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kilian Tauscher hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Ali Murat Bilharz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Rodewald got a freekick which was hit by Karol Krone. After 81 minutes, Patrick Hebel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodewald and the Kleie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Hebel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kleie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rodewald had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
