Tobias Makel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfred Dressel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Dressel took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adil Bernstein. Adil Bernstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Remo Dörmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Heupel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Jakob Heupel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Dressel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adil Bernstein having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Baader in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Dörmann saved FC BMG from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Eisern Union's Jakob Heupel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo Dörmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 40 minutes of play, Eisern Union's Jakob Heupel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Dörmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Jan Baader cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Remo Dörmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Remo Dörmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Baader, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Jan Baader came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Eisern Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Baader couldn't finish the play. When Wolfgang Baumgartner fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eisern Union's protests and gave Wolfgang Baumgartner a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC BMG booed when Eisern Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Baumgartner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörg Göger kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Alfred Dressel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
