With a left leg Ovid Eisenhauer saved Wolterdingen FSV from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Wolterdingen FSV's Marco Bachmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Marco Bachmann's late challenge caught a FC Goatstaller's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Bachmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Goatstaller booed when Wolterdingen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Bachmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karsten Spoddig got free with James Klütz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wolterdingen FSV's Hamit Neumann pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Patrick Schrader's late challenge caught a Wolterdingen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Klütz came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Bachmann slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match, Marco Bachmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but James Klütz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. James Klütz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Bachmann in the 44th minute. Felix Andersen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. James Klütz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolterdingen FSV.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Andersen to make the kick off. Silvio Sandmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Klütz having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, FC Goatstaller's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Andersen came free, but James Klütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. James Klütz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Bachmann in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Goatstaller's goalkeeper James Klütz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Marco Bachmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
