Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gottfried Kluttig took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Neuenhammer's Rico Kucharski got a free kick in the 6th minute. Egon Stehmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Stahlschmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egon Stehmer ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 minutes Neuenhammer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunther Vorwerk who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gunther Vorwerk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Johannes Stahlschmidt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Egon Stehmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gunther Vorwerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Schorling hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Konrad Fink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egon Stehmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Johannes Stahlschmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Mainzweiler's Stanislaw Kokott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micha-Alexander Scheller in the 23rd minute of play. Gunther Vorwerk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Stahlschmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunther Vorwerk's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Perikles Birke's late challenge caught a FC Mainzweiler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perikles Birke helped the player get up and apologised. Perikles Birke hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, FC Mainzweiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimir Domann to maneuver through the defense. Nemo Bion was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. The referee gave Neuenhammer a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joe Sasse, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Mainzweiler's Stanislaw Kokott. 0-1. After some careless play in the FC Mainzweiler defense, Micha-Alexander Scheller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaw Kokott. The FC Mainzweiler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaw Kokott should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Casimir Domann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Casimir Domann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mainzweiler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimir Domann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neuenhammer's goalkeeper Johannes Stahlschmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egon Stehmer took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Stahlschmidt. Johannes Stahlschmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Casimir Domann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casimir Domann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Stahlschmidt having to interfere. FC Mainzweiler's Konrad Fink got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neuenhammer's Johannes Stahlschmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimir Domann in the 63rd minute of play. Egon Stehmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Johannes Stahlschmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimir Domann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Casimir Domann notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Neuenhammer's Johannes Stahlschmidt. Johannes Stahlschmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Mainzweiler's Stanislaw Kokott got control of the ball when Micha-Alexander Scheller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Casimir Domann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mainzweiler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimir Domann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Konrad Fink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Leopold Joeris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Johannes Stahlschmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Egon Stehmer came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Mainzweiler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Stehmer couldn't finish the play. If Casimir Domann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Kokott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfried Kluttig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Klaas Fremd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mainzweiler and the Neuenhammer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Neuenhammer booed when FC Mainzweiler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Fremd didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Mainzweiler players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
