When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Rüdiger Nellessen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronny Beier. Karsten Spoddig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Beier having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tellschütz's goalkeeper Ronny Beier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rüdiger Nellessen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurij Schütze to make the kick off. In the 70th minute, Felix Andersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüdiger Nellessen in the 73rd minute of play forced Tellschütz's goalkeeper Ronny Beier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Tellschütz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harro Triebel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Wolterdingen FSV booed when Tellschütz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Hoppensack didn't get a good kick on the ball.
