Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Urs Spruck took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Urs Spruck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Speele FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hörsten the free kick. A collision led to Speele FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Urs Spruck hit a great ball. In the 4th minute Gerald Ringelnatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Ries-Müller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Ries-Müller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Ringelnatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Dieckmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Dieckmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Ries-Müller having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Speele FC got a freekick which was hit by Urs Spruck. Björn Färber's late challenge caught a Speele FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Färber helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Speele FC booed when Hörsten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Färber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Urs Spruck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Speele FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urs Spruck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Gillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Albert Danz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gerald Ringelnatz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Ries-Müller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gaston Dieckmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hörsten's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Dieckmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Ries-Müller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Hörsten's Gaston Dieckmann got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gaston Dieckmann came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hörsten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Dieckmann couldn't finish the play. Bartolomeo Kollmannsperger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Marco Zahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Julian Ries-Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Speele FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eric Räthe in the 70th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Didier Cartus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 75th minute, Hörsten's Gerald Ringelnatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Gerald Ringelnatz took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Ries-Müller. Julian Ries-Müller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Hörsten's zone, Albert Danz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Gillen came out of the goal and Albert Danz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Speele FC booed when Hörsten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Zahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Danz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Gillen having to make a save. After 92 played minutes, Speele FC's Eric Räthe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Gillen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Speele FC reached it. If Urs Spruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
