Obermoosschwaige FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Schmitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Jan Haltmair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Obermoosschwaige FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz-Gerd Bonhoeffer came free, but Florin Huhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Lewin Blome from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Leopold Kartz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nils Steckel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Florin Huhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Haltmair in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopold Kartz saved Saturdays For Beer from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Obermoosschwaige FSV's Leopold Kartz threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Haltmair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonas Schmitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopold Kartz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Saturdays For Beer's Leopold Kartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Haltmair in the 49th minute of play. Horst Bockenauer's late challenge caught a Obermoosschwaige FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horst Bockenauer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Obermoosschwaige FSV booed when Saturdays For Beer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst Bockenauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes, Obermoosschwaige FSV's Jochen Grill shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopold Kartz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obermoosschwaige FSV reached it. When Jan Haltmair came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Obermoosschwaige FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Haltmair couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Obermoosschwaige FSV fully deserved thier win.
