Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gerald Ringelnatz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Hörsten's zone, Theodor Grotthaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Gillen came out of the goal and Theodor Grotthaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerald Ringelnatz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Wurm. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Daniel Wurm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Ringelnatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erich Walz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Wurm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Dieckmann in the 28th minute. Michael Gillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodor Grotthaus in the 38th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Bartolomeo Kollmannsperger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hörsten and the Fehmarnsund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Hörsten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomeo Kollmannsperger to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erich Walz to make the kick off. Theodor Grotthaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Gillen having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Theodor Grotthaus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Paul Menz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Hörsten's Jason Freund in action when he in the 60th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Theodor Grotthaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Hörsten's goal looked a bit too open when Erich Walz came free, but Michael Gillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erich Walz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fehmarnsund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erich Walz couldn't finish the play. If Theodor Grotthaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Ringelnatz in the 71st minute of play forced Fehmarnsund's goalkeeper Daniel Wurm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Wurm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Ringelnatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erich Walz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erich Walz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Gaston Dieckmann made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Wurm. Fehmarnsund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Fehmarnsund booed when Hörsten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Freund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodor Grotthaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Gillen having to make a save. Gaston Dieckmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Wurm having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
