Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Louis Gedlich made the kick off which started today's match. Uffe Götze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Wöhrl came out and tried to block the shot, but Uffe Götze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Windfeld FSV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dieter Josten hit a great ball. With a little luck, Windfeld FSV's Erik Wöhrl got control of the ball when Uffe Götze tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Albert Balter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Harald Leesmeister was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Windfeld FSV's zone, Uffe Götze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Wöhrl came out of the goal and Uffe Götze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Windfeld FSV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dieter Josten hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Uffe Götze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wachholz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 33 minutes into the game, Louis Gedlich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Harald Leesmeister was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Wöhrl made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Uffe Götze sent off a good shot on target. If Uffe Götze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute of the match, Phoenix Starke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Wöhrl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Uffe Götzes short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Erik Wöhrl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phoenix Starke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gunther Rübenach fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wachholz's protests and gave Gunther Rübenach a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wachholz's zone, Albert Balter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Leesmeister came out of the goal and Albert Balter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Wöhrl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phoenix Starke in the 61st minute of the match. Wachholz's Gunther Rübenach got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Gunther Rübenach off the ground. A collision led to Wachholz getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gunther Rübenach hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Albert Balter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Windfeld FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Balter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Leesmeister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Windfeld FSV's Albert Balter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Leesmeister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Louis Gedlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Phoenix Starke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Louis Gedlich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Windfeld FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Gedlich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dieter Josten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Leesmeister having to interfere. Harald Leesmeister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Gedlich in the 90th minute of play. Louis Gedlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Harald Leesmeister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
