Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phoenix Starke got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Obermoosschwaige FSV got a freekick which was hit by Lewin Blome. In the 8th minute Uffe Götze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Huhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obermoosschwaige FSV's Jonas Schmitz got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Uffe Götze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wachholz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Phoenix Starke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Schmitz in the 23rd minute of play forced Wachholz's goalkeeper Harald Leesmeister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phoenix Starke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Florin Huhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wachholz's zone, Jonas Schmitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Leesmeister came out of the goal and Jonas Schmitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harald Leesmeister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Schmitz in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Jan Haltmair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obermoosschwaige FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wachholz the free kick. Jonas Schmitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Harald Leesmeister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Leesmeister made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bankewitz in the 46th minute. A collision led to Wachholz getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Deon Gotthard hit a great ball. After the first half Wachholz were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Phoenix Starke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wachholz's supporters rose to their feet, but Phoenix Starke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Huhn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcio Nazaradeh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florin Huhn. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Wachholz got a freekick which was hit by Hossam Boden. After a rather tough play, Wachholz's Uffe Götze got a free kick in the 65th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Obermoosschwaige FSV's goalkeeper Florin Huhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uffe Götze. Phoenix Starke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Huhn having to interfere. When Silvio Büren fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obermoosschwaige FSV's protests and gave Silvio Büren a yellow card for diving instead. Silvio Büren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uffe Götze got free with Florin Huhn in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Florin Huhn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Uffe Götze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Bankewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Harald Leesmeister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Obermoosschwaige FSV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wachholz's performance. The match ended with a win for Wachholz.
