Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rufus Icking got the match started through his kick off. SG Massen's Jakov Fleiner got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match Nico Strerath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ashley Burgbacher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Tovar-Köln's Torbjörn Schroers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balthasar Korsus in the 10th minute of play. Rufus Icking fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Burgbacher having to interfere. Jakov Fleiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Torbjörn Schroers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Balthasar Korsus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Schroers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakov Fleiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SG Massen booed when FC Tovar-Köln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denzel Niederberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Mauritz Jan Schmiederkal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Tovar-Köln's Torbjörn Schroers didn't even have to move. 23 minutes into the match, FC Tovar-Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Balthasar Korsus came free, but Torbjörn Schroers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jakov Fleiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakov Fleiners short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Torbjörn Schroers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the game, Torger Maier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ashley Burgbacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Tovar-Köln's Torbjörn Schroers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balthasar Korsus in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, SG Massen's Jakov Fleiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torbjörn Schroers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jakov Fleiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Torbjörn Schroers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torbjörn Schroers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthasar Korsus in the 43rd minute of the match. Jakov Fleiner scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torbjörn Schroers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balthasar Korsus to strike the kick off in the second half. Torbjörn Schroers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakov Fleiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ashley Burgbacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Icking in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Mehmet Ertas Berntsen threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Tovar-Köln's Leandros Jähnigen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the game, Morgan Schmitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SG Massen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tovar-Köln the free kick. In the 58th minute, one of SG Massen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SG Massen. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Tovar-Köln fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Mauritz Jan Schmiederkal shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ashley Burgbacher made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Torger Maier sent off a good shot on target. Torger Maier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, FC Tovar-Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Balthasar Korsus came free, but Torbjörn Schroers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hubert Hareter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Schroers was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Torbjörn Schroers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakov Fleiner in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balthasar Korsus in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Schroers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Tovar-Köln's Amatus Rühle got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Jakov Fleiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Massen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakov Fleiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balthasar Korsus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Schroers having to interfere. Despite being the better team, SG Massen failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
