An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Wille in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Boss Mannheim's goalkeeper Mattes Schug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC Boss Mannheim's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Eisenberg came free, but Mattes Schug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Boss Mannheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Boss Mannheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
