Mattes Schug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Jacobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The shot was stopped by Stefan Kaspar but with some difficulty. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Boss Mannheim's goalkeeper Mattes Schug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joachim Levi's late challenge caught a FC Boss Mannheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Levi helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the game, one of CSC Lindwωrm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, FC Boss Mannheim's Tristan Sempert got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stefan Kaspar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Mark Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mattes Schug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodor Kling took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Kaspar. Stefan Kaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 76 minutes of play, FC Boss Mannheim's Theodor Kling made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Kaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Boss Mannheim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Mark Jacobs scored to the left of an out of position Mattes Schug, making the score, 4-2. Many of CSC Lindwωrm's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CSC Lindwωrm may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Boss Mannheim were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
