Morris Bertermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Grajewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Morris Bertermann ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morris Bertermann got free with Oliver Grajewski in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC 8A JUNGS's Oliver Grajewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC 8A JUNGS from getting a goal against them. Manchester City F.C's Morris Bertermann got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Wieland Burkart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Manchester City F.C defense, Björn Strick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaus Riestenpatt. The Manchester City F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaus Riestenpatt should have stopped the shot. In the 37thth minute of the game Björn Strick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester City F.C's Klaus Riestenpatt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC 8A JUNGS's goalkeeper Oliver Grajewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morris Bertermann. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wieland Burkart made the kick off in the second half. Klaus Riestenpatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Björn Strick's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to FC 8A JUNGS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Christian Beushausen hit a great ball. Jens Mumme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Riestenpatt having to interfere. If Morris Bertermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC 8A JUNGS's Christian Beushausen got a free kick in the 69th minute. FC 8A JUNGS were furious when Klaus Rackbier was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC 8A JUNGS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Grajewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morris Bertermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morris Bertermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC 8A JUNGS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
