Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stefan Rist made the kick off which started today's match. Benedikt Bohne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Michael Appenrodt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Rist in the 5th minute of play forced Glösa's goalkeeper Michael Appenrodt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Appenrodt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Rist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Appenrodt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedikt Bohne in the 7th minute of play. Gunther Geske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kornel Moritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Glösa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gerke Göttling hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Stefan Rist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedikt Bohne hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vinzenz Sebastian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kornel Moritz came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinzenz Sebastian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Benedikt Bohne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Appenrodt having to interfere. Michael Appenrodt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedikt Bohne's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Glösa's Memet Hirtzel got a free kick in the 26th minute. Michael Appenrodt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Rist in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Rist in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Appenrodt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Appenrodt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Rist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedikt Bohne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Appenrodt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedikt Bohne in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinzenz Sebastian was the one to do the kick off. When Stefan Rist came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC HARZ THALE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Rist couldn't finish the play. After having played for 60 minutes, Stefan Rist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HARZ THALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Rist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedikt Bohne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Appenrodt having to interfere. If Stefan Rist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Appenrodt made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Benedikt Bohne sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 77 minutes, Benedikt Bohne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HARZ THALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Bohne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Stefan Rist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michael Appenrodt. Stefan Rist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After having played for 91 minutes, Benedikt Bohne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HARZ THALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Bohne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Appenrodt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Rist's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the match was over FC HARZ THALE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glösa throughout the match.
