Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dolf Bartelt started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helmut Haller during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Equord getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Helmut Haller hit a great ball. Equord's Matthias Pitterling got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burkhardt Lankes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Equord booed when DJK Villingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matti Mielke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Ubbo Vöhringer made a precise shot to the right of Theo Schwaiger. DJK Villingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Theo Schwaiger came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Equord's Ubbo Vöhringer. But to his dismay, Ubbo Vöhringer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Matthias Kühnemund charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Kühnemund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Matthias Kühnemund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Schwaiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Haller in the 28th minute of play. Dolf Bartelt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, DJK Villingen's goal looked a bit too open when Ubbo Vöhringer came free, but Theo Schwaiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theo Schwaiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubbo Vöhringer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, Matthias Pitterling made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dolf Bartelt hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Theo Schwaiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubbo Vöhringer in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Noah Bunje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, DJK Villingen's goal looked a bit too open when Ubbo Vöhringer came free, but Theo Schwaiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Pitterling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Theo Schwaiger made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Equord's Burkhardt Lankes got a free kick in the 61st minute. Equord's Emanuel Sobieray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Bunje in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match DJK Villingen got a corner. Equord's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dolf Bartelt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Matthias Kühnemund drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Equord's goalkeeper. In the 76th minute Ubbo Vöhringer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Schwaiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes DJK Villingen got a freekick which was hit by Gottlieb Kohl. With a little luck, DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger got control of the ball when Matthias Pitterling tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Kuypers during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DJK Villingen's Matti Mielke got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ubbo Vöhringer struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Theo Schwaiger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equord. Theo Schwaiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubbo Vöhringer in the 94th minute of the match. DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubbo Vöhringer in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Equord eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
