Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aage Boller made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 8 minutes, Zdenko Guddorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feldkante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdenko Guddorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kilian Bechthold scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinhold Jerems, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Checkpoint's zone, Aage Boller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhold Jerems came out of the goal and Aage Boller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aage Boller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhold Jerems having to interfere. Benni Burka struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Reinhold Jerems didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feldkante. Erwin Plehn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hajo Borger in the 23rd minute of play. When Aage Boller came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Feldkante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aage Boller couldn't finish the play. Jörg Oettinger charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörg Oettinger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Checkpoint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Oettinger to maneuver through the defense. If Benni Burka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erwin Plehn made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Lothar Stötzel sent off a good shot on target. Kilian Bechthold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lothar Stötzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Erwin Plehn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Plehn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, Checkpoint's Reinhold Jerems got control of the ball when Kilian Bechthold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdl Riemer struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Reinhold Jerems didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feldkante. Kasper Dost hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Erwin Plehn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothar Stötzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aage Boller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinhold Jerems having to make a save. Feldkante's Erwin Plehn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Jakob in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Hajo Borger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Checkpoint fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 66th minute, Lothar Stötzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Checkpoint's Reinhold Jerems proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Checkpoint from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Ferdl Riemer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aage Boller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kilian Bechthold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhold Jerems having to interfere. In the 76th minute Hajo Borger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Plehn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ferdl Riemer fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feldkante's protests and gave Ferdl Riemer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Feldkante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdl Riemer to maneuver through the defense. Wulf Kage took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erwin Plehn. Feldkante's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erwin Plehn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hajo Borger in the 86th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Alfred Polzer put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Checkpoint's Alfred Polzer got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Keven Bruder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhold Jerems skillfully saved the ball. Lothar Stötzel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerhard Jakob during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Feldkante booed when Checkpoint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerhard Jakob didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Feldkante's Benni Burka tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Checkpoint could leave the field as winners, despite Feldkante having more of the ball for most of the match.
