Markus Gerken started the match with the kick off. Pekko Dürr took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo Schwaiger. Theo Schwaiger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of FC Niebieskie Dachy booed when DJK Villingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Bunje didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Niebieskie Dachy getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Manfred Rott hit a great ball. Dolf Bartelt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathieu Gleißberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Markus Gerken received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theo Schwaiger came out and tried to block the shot, but Markus Gerken slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Manfred Rott hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, one of FC Niebieskie Dachy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for DJK Villingen. Dolf Bartelt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mathieu Gleißberg. 2-1. DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save DJK Villingen from getting a goal against them. Dolf Bartelt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Bunje in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Niebieskie Dachy's goalkeeper Mathieu Gleißberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Kuypers's late challenge caught a FC Niebieskie Dachy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Einar Kuypers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DJK Villingen's Einar Kuypers got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Markus Gerken rounded DJK Villingen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Dolf Bartelt kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dolf Bartelt to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, DJK Villingen's Tobias Buth got a free kick in the 57th minute. FC Niebieskie Dachy's Pekko Dürr got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, FC Niebieskie Dachy's Markus Gerken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Schwaiger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Mathieu Gleißberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Bartelt in the 82nd minute of the match. Matti Mielke lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. DJK Villingen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
