The referee showed Matthias Kühnemund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute Mark Debus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Schwaiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Schwaiger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mark Debus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. When Einar Kuypers fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJK Villingen's protests and gave Einar Kuypers a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the match, Kella's Mark Debus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Schwaiger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Theo Schwaiger managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Kella's Alfred Wewers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 97 played minutes Kella got a freekick which was hit by Bozo Plaggemeyer. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kella eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
