Placido Heermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Kübler in the 23rd minute of the match. If Raffael Mühlfenzl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ty Felich's late challenge caught a Bahrenfeld FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Junker to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Patrick-Marc Göldner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Heermann. Eugen Dölle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Heise went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Patrick-Marc Göldner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mehringsburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick-Marc Göldner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Heermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oskar Ehret took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Heermann. Bahrenfeld FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 played minutes Bahrenfeld FSV got a freekick which was hit by Georg Appelt. After 81 played minutes, Mehringsburg FC's Erhard Benscheider shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Placido Heermann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mehringsburg FC reached it. If Christian Heise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehringsburg FC's Eugen Dölle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mehringsburg FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Felich in the 88th minute of play forced Bahrenfeld FSV's goalkeeper Placido Heermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Heermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Kübler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
