The referee ignored Grimelsheim FC's protests and gave Simon Kirchberger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Grimelsheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Kirchberger to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Kühn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Finn Kühne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Kühn had several of the Schierlage's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Finn Kühne as he didn't even see the shot coming. Finn Kühne came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Grimelsheim FC's Heimito Seisler. But to his dismay, Heimito Seisler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Kühn made a kick off. Finn Kühne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heimito Seisler went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Eduard Kühn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Kühne having to interfere. If Eduard Kühn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heimito Seisler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Finn Kühne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Heimito Seisler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schierlage's Finn Kühne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Grimelsheim FC booed when Schierlage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Baumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Schierlage's zone, Eduard Kühn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Finn Kühne came out of the goal and Eduard Kühn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Eduard Kühn made a precise shot to the right of Finn Kühne. Schierlage's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Herrmann Bolz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Grimelsheim FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
