After 17 played minutes Frankfurt SGE got a freekick which was hit by Frederic Grotthaus. Günter Huwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Heidsiek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Wisgalla in the 52nd minute of play forced Frankfurt SGE's goalkeeper Mikolaj Sidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Brunnadern FC got a freekick which was hit by Kai Grunert. After having played for 89 minutes, Vito Wisgalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
