With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Gelb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eibo Lade took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Gelb. Peter Gelb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Hauwech defense, Veit Hübsch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Gelb. The Hauwech fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Gelb should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Funkel in the 22nd minute of play forced SC Tannenhausen's goalkeeper Paavo Hilljegerdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Zacharias Hölsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Gelb was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Peter Gelb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veit Hübsch in the 26th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Schönbucher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Gelb having to make a save. After 62 played minutes Hauwech got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Funkel. 68 minutes into the match, SC Tannenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Funkel came free, but Paavo Hilljegerdes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Eibo Lade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paavo Hilljegerdes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veit Hübsch during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torsten Biehlert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Gelb having to make a save. The Hauwech fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Tannenhausen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
