After 20 played minutes BK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Danielzick. Christian Heise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Heise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Horsch in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claas Dziersan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claas Dziersan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Junker in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Reinald Stengert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Heermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bahrenfeld FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Reinald Stengert came free, but Placido Heermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BK Stockholm's zone, Steffen Horsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claas Dziersan came out of the goal and Steffen Horsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, BK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Junker came free, but Claas Dziersan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Heise hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinald Stengert in the 46th minute of play forced Bahrenfeld FSV's goalkeeper Placido Heermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahrenfeld FSV's Christian Heise got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Christian Heise off the ground. In the 47th match minute, Bahrenfeld FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Heise to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinald Stengert to make the kick off.
