Brunnadern FC's Anton Heidsiek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Kübler in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Mehringsburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juliane Quack came free, but Eugen Dölle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Wisgalla made a kick off. Ty Felich struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Anton Heidsiek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mehringsburg FC. Uwe Kübler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ty Felich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mehringsburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ty Felich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Heidsiek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juliane Quack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eugen Dölle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Vito Wisgalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugen Dölle. Vito Wisgalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Juliane Quack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Eugen Dölle made a huge save. Eugen Dölle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliane Quack in the 66th minute. Uwe Kübler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uwe Kübler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anton Heidsiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hartwig Beinmagd hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Brunnadern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliane Quack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Heidsiek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Kübler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Wisgalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugen Dölle came out and tried to block the shot, but Vito Wisgalla slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute. When Juliane Quack came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Brunnadern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juliane Quack couldn't finish the play. The Brunnadern FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
