Meikel Fleischer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Claas Dziersan made a huge save. Reinald Stengert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Sidor having to interfere. After some careless play in the Frankfurt SGE defense, Bonifaz Jeschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Sidor. The Frankfurt SGE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Sidor should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, BK Stockholm's Reinald Stengert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Sidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Reinald Stengert struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mikolaj Sidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Stockholm. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinald Stengert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johannes Brenner hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Tankred Heike shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claas Dziersan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, BK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Meikel Fleischer came free, but Claas Dziersan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meikel Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claas Dziersan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Frankfurt SGE got a freekick which was hit by Gero Beckhaus. After having played for 79 minutes, Meikel Fleischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frankfurt SGE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meikel Fleischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Günter Huwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes, Meikel Fleischer made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. BK Stockholm's Claas Dziersan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikolaj Sidor made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Bonifaz Jeschke sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of BK Stockholm booed when Frankfurt SGE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederic Grotthaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikolaj Sidor was a little too slow when Reinald Stengert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Frankfurt SGE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
