Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Sébastien Bleck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Häse in the 12th minute of play forced Marvin 1904's goalkeeper Dittmar Zimmermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoran Breneizeris couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Spörl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sébastien Bleck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Zoran Breneizeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoran Breneizeris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Police's goalkeeper Sébastien Bleck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Police's zone, Erhard Harloff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Bleck came out of the goal and Erhard Harloff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maiko Dippel to strike the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Spörl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Jork recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Dittmar Zimmermann managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Police's Matthias Häse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 60 minutes, Joseph Jork managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marvin 1904's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Jork was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Police getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kurt Nolting hit a great ball. Marvin 1904's Philipp Scharnhorst got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Thole took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sébastien Bleck. Police's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Spörl in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sébastien Bleck saved Police from getting behind. With a little luck, Marvin 1904's Dittmar Zimmermann got control of the ball when Matthias Häse tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Police's zone, Mohamed Spörl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Bleck came out of the goal and Mohamed Spörl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Spörl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Police's Oskar Ottinger got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Police got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Enz. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Spörl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Bleck was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Police's zone, Erhard Harloff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Bleck came out of the goal and Erhard Harloff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erhard Harloff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Police's Sébastien Bleck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Spörl in the 91st minute of play. Oskar Ottinger hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Police succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Marvin 1904 had controlled the match.
