With his leg Nico Joseph managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when ŞimşekSpor's Connor Oppitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Connor Oppitzs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Nico Joseph to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute, Leo Schwanitz made a precise shot to the right of Georges Meisinger. ŞimşekSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Leo Schwanitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georges Meisinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Leo Schwanitz charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Schwanitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Leo Schwanitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 47 in the game by Connor Oppitz from a close distance when the talented Nico Joseph managed to make a qualified save. Groß Schwülper's players were relieved. After the first half Groß Schwülper were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jens-Erik Bergers made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Udo Ohm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Georges Meisinger, 1-3. Georges Meisinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Schwanitz in the 56th minute. In the 57th play minute Leo Schwanitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Georges Meisinger. 1-4. Udo Ohm charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Udo Ohm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ŞimşekSpor booed when Groß Schwülper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udo Ohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Connor Oppitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ŞimşekSpor's Georges Meisinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Bergers in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, ŞimşekSpor's Udo Wickede sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Connor Oppitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Joseph having to make a save. The Groß Schwülper players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
