In the 7th match minute, fc fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Münstermann to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Goldblum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Holzhäuser, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Armin Lanzerath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kay Burckhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, ŞimşekSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Münstermann came free, but Georges Meisinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efraim Schünemann's late challenge caught a fc fenerbahce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Goldblum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georges Meisinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Blassen in the 86th minute of play. If Connor Oppitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, ŞimşekSpor's goalkeeper Georges Meisinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Münstermann.
