Heiner Kornmeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiner Kornmeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Hanta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonhard Winkler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Erler was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Leonhard Winkler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonhard Winkler really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Henning Nitz took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Erler. Sandro Erler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of Stadl FSV booed when InterWerder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fieber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stadl FSV's Sid Hanta got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Gill's late challenge caught a InterWerder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Gill helped the player get up and apologised. If Henning Nitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 45 in the game by Henning Nitz from a close distance when the talented Sandro Erler managed to make a qualified save. Stadl FSV's players were relieved. 46 minutes into the match, Stadl FSV's Sid Hanta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heiner Kornmeier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Sid Hanta notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of InterWerder's Heiner Kornmeier. Heiner Kornmeier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Leonhard Winkler came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the InterWerder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonhard Winkler couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonhard Winkler in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Erler saved Stadl FSV from getting behind. Henning Nitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sandro Erler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stadl FSV's zone, Leonhard Winkler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Erler came out of the goal and Leonhard Winkler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, InterWerder's goalkeeper Heiner Kornmeier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerd-Peter Kienast. Sandro Erler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonhard Winkler in the 81st minute of play. If Henning Nitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Fieber's late challenge caught a Stadl FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Heiner Kornmeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After a rather tough play, InterWerder's Mario Fieber got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Henning Nitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Erler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. InterWerder's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
