Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arlo Steinborn took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arlo Steinborn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arlo Steinborn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Inaktiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlo Steinborn couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inaktiv fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for FC Rügen 02. Volkhard Burgmann stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gunther Buth. 0-2. In the 27th minute Frederik Riester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Buth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlo Steinborn in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Schön saved FC Rügen 02 from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Frederik Riester made a precise shot to the right of Gunther Buth. Inaktiv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Rügen 02's goalkeeper Jan Schön, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Konrad Güssgen charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Güssgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes FC Rügen 02 got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Güssgen. Arlo Steinborn had several of the FC Rügen 02's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jan Schön as he didn't even see the shot coming. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jürg Frosch made the kick off in the second half. Arlo Steinborn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jan Schön tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jürg Frosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunther Buth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürg Frosch in the 58th minute of play. Jan Schön showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjürgen Wedig, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes, Günther Sinnesbichler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inaktiv and the FC Rügen 02 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Inaktiv got a freekick which was hit by Günther Sinnesbichler. In the 73rd minute, Hartmut Schmelter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Riester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Buth having to interfere. Frederik Riester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Jürg Frosch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 83 minutes of play, FC Rügen 02's Frederik Riester made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunther Buth was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Inaktiv got a freekick which was hit by Günther Sinnesbichler. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Rügen 02's Jürg Frosch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunther Buth. That made the score 1-6 after 90 minutes of play. In the 96th minute, Jürg Frosch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
