In the 6thth minute of the game Berthold Schindler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inaktiv's Gunther Buth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arlo Steinborn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hansjürgen Wedig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes InterWerder got a freekick which was hit by Julius Igelbüscher. 15 minutes into the match, Arlo Steinborn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of InterWerder's Viktor Hesmert. Viktor Hesmert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julius Igelbüscher kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Berthold Schindler managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Renfordt in the 28th minute of play forced Inaktiv's goalkeeper Gunther Buth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansjürgen Wedig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Hesmert having to interfere. After some careless play in the Inaktiv defense, Mario Renfordt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunther Buth. The Inaktiv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunther Buth should have stopped the shot. Günther Sinnesbichler's late challenge caught a InterWerder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Günther Sinnesbichler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Günther Sinnesbichler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mario Renfordt made the kick off in the second half. Michael Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Arlo Steinborn notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of InterWerder's Viktor Hesmert. Viktor Hesmert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inaktiv's Gunther Buth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Renfordt in the 77th minute of play. If Berthold Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inaktiv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Konrad Majewski scored to the left of an out of position Gunther Buth, making the score, 3-4. Mario Renfordt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Buth having to interfere. The Inaktiv fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. InterWerder were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
