The supporters of Stadl FSV booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Josef Ebenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerd-Peter Kienast in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Bürklen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rüdiger Wexler got free with Ferdinand Bürklen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliver Josef Ebenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sandro Erler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Torger Schmuck. With a little luck, Stadl FSV's Sandro Erler got control of the ball when Roque Lösch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerd-Peter Kienast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Bürklen having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gerd-Peter Kienast's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Bürklen was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 95th minute Gerd-Peter Kienast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Bürklen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
