The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erko Siese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lion Drinkard's late challenge caught a Bocket FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lion Drinkard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute of the match Peer Wirtgen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhard Husten skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Bocket FC's Reinhard Husten threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benedikt Andres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Reinhard Husten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Saures short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Reinhard Husten to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Bocket FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Hampel came free, but Feddo Scherbaum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Bocket FC's Benedikt Andres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinhard Husten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 played minutes, Struckhausen FC's Finn Schwarzbach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feddo Scherbaum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Struckhausen FC reached it. In the 42nd match minute, Bocket FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Hahn to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Benedikt Andres made a precise shot to the right of Reinhard Husten. Struckhausen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erko Siese made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Erko Siese managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Struckhausen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erko Siese was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedikt Andres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Reinhard Husten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Benedikt Andres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Husten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedikt Andres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Reinhard Husten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Benedikt Andres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 75th minute, Tim Rohrschneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinhard Husten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Saure, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Benedikt Andres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Husten having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carlos Saure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocket FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Saure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhard Husten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Simon Trenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bocket FC booed when Struckhausen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erko Siese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bocket FC's Peer Wirtgen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Struckhausen FC. Bocket FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
