Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stefan Daumann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Husten having to interfere. A collision led to Struckhausen FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tim Rohrschneider hit a great ball. If Tim Rohrschneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Struckhausen FC's Reinhard Husten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Hochhaus in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Kilz got free with Reinhard Husten in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Struckhausen FC's zone, Gordon Schipploch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhard Husten came out of the goal and Gordon Schipploch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Reichwein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erko Siese in the 26th minute of the match. Erko Siese struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Adam Reichwein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Struckhausen FC. Frans Bornscheuer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Husten having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Struckhausen FC's Tim Rohrschneider got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rachid Kilz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rachid Kilz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Reinhard Husten made a huge save. Gordon Schipploch was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 45th match minute, Struckhausen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lion Drinkard to maneuver through the defense. Esens were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Struckhausen FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Derek Utzig took the corner. The corner led to Esens's Burkhard Gutjahr getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erko Siese to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gordon Schipploch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Rohrschneider kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Gordon Schipploch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Husten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erko Siese's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Reichwein was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80thth minute of the game Gordon Schipploch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Struckhausen FC's Reinhard Husten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marc Brunck kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Gordon Schipploch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Rachid Kilz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Kilz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Struckhausen FC's zone, Rachid Kilz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhard Husten came out of the goal and Rachid Kilz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Esens players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
