If Erko Siese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcel Throm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Reinhard Husten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borussia Polonia fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Borussia Polonia's Marcel Throm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcel Throm struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Reinhard Husten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Polonia. 20 minutes into the match, Struckhausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Throm came free, but Reinhard Husten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick-Marc Kallies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Husten having to interfere. When Patrick-Marc Kallies came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Borussia Polonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick-Marc Kallies couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Struckhausen FC's Reinhard Husten got control of the ball when Marcel Throm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Günther Abstreiter hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Sandro Hendle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhard Husten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Marcel Throm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinhard Husten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick-Marc Kallies in the 88th minute of play. Karol Hampel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tom Pfau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borussia Polonia's Tom Pfau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erko Siese in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Geert Butzendorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borussia Polonia played a much better game than Struckhausen FC and deserved their victory. The Struckhausen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
