Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Winfried Lammertz made the kick off which started today's match. Per Osthoff came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Geiselwind's Achim Ziener. But to his dismay, Achim Ziener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Mühlstein got free with Kasimir Spethmann in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Geiselwind booed when Burscheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shingo Rieger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Winfried Lammertz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geiselwind's supporters rose to their feet, but Winfried Lammertz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Osthoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per Osthoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfried Lammertz in the 13th minute of the match. Heinz Hauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Per Osthoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burscheid's Per Osthoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heinz Hauer in the 17th minute of play. Remo Klauß in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kasimir Spethmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Burscheid booed when Geiselwind was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Achterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Geiselwind's Kasimir Spethmann got control of the ball when Marco Mühlstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Winfried Lammertz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Osthoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achim Ziener in the 27th minute of play forced Burscheid's goalkeeper Per Osthoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Remo Klauß elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Geiselwind's goalkeeper Kasimir Spethmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Mühlstein. 34 minutes into the match, Geiselwind's goalkeeper Kasimir Spethmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Klauß. The Geiselwind fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Geiselwind's Winfried Lammertz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Remo Klauß could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Kasimir Spethmann made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslav Demmel made a kick off. Heinz Hauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Per Osthoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Burscheid getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marco Mühlstein hit a great ball. If Heinz Hauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Klauß in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Winfried Lammertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remo Klauß took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasimir Spethmann. Kasimir Spethmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 74 minutes of play, Burscheid's Miroslav Demmel made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasimir Spethmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Burscheid's Remo Klauß nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasimir Spethmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 85 minutes into the match, Geiselwind's Lukas Pieper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per Osthoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lukas Pieper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Osthoff having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Geiselwind's Toralf Hübner got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Remo Klauß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasimir Spethmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winfried Lammertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Osthoff having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Geiselwind players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Burscheid.
