A collision led to Geiselwind getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Achim Ziener hit a great ball. Dominik Thiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasimir Spethmann. Geiselwind's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Heinz Hauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Abelmann having to interfere. Toralf Hübner kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Lukas Pieper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislaw Möst during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stanislaw Möst hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Geiselwind's goalkeeper Kasimir Spethmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jindrich Räuschel. Dieter Abelmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinz Hauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Möst in the 18th minute of the match. Dieter Abelmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achim Ziener's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Heinz Hauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 28 minutes on the clock, Achim Ziener commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Geiselwind:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hahn Fußballverein:s goal. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Hahn Fußballverein's Dominik Thiel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kasimir Spethmann. When Geiselwind's Winfried Lammertz in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahn Fußballverein's goalie prevented a goal. Winfried Lammertz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dieter Abelmann having to make a save. Hahn Fußballverein's Dieter Abelmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Pieper in the 39th minute of play. Heinz Hauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geiselwind's Lukas Pieper got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasimir Spethmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Möst in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Winfried Lammertz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geiselwind fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislaw Möst was the one to do the kick off. When Heinz Hauer came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Geiselwind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinz Hauer couldn't finish the play. Hahn Fußballverein's Dieter Abelmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Hahn Fußballverein from getting a goal against them. Heinz Hauer struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dieter Abelmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geiselwind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heinz Hauer during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Geiselwind got a freekick which was hit by Heinz Hauer. Kasimir Spethmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Möst, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Lukas Pieper took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dieter Abelmann to make any attempt to save it. Winfried Lammertz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dieter Abelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinz Hauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kasimir Spethmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Nüssle, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Geiselwind's Winfried Lammertz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dieter Abelmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Lukas Pieper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieter Abelmann made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lukas Pieper sent off a good shot on target. Lukas Pieper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Abelmann having to interfere. Heinz Hauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dieter Abelmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heinz Hauer ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Hahn Fußballverein's zone, Winfried Lammertz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dieter Abelmann came out of the goal and Winfried Lammertz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Geiselwind left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hahn Fußballverein.
